"Art in Motion" Spring Recital 2023
This years spring recital is inspired by famous art work and photography. From Van Gogh to Banksy and everyone in between. Join us as we celebrate "Art in Motion."

Daddy Daughter Dance

Recital Fee:
- Each dancer is responsible for a $175 participation fee which covers stage rental, technical staff, recital shirt, and costumes. Dancers in more than one class will have an additional $30 costume fee per class.
- Recital fees are due by February 18
- Recital fees can be paid through PayPal or with a check
Photography:
- We are excited to bring back Axial Dance picture day! More information coming soon!
- Taking photos during the performance is allowed, but please do not use a flash.
Tickets + Audience Information:
- Tickets are available at the door, or pre-sale starting April 1st. All tickets are $12, and seats are on a first come first serve basis. The theater is handicap accessible. If you or someone you have attending needs an accessible seat, please let us know and we can reserve one for you
Additional Information
- As of February 1 2023, The Hylton Performing Arts Center does not require masks or proof of COVID vaccination. If this changes we will let you know!
- Only parent helpers are allowed backstage- no exceptions! There will be a designated pick up and drop off spot to meet your dancer. Please do not enter the dressing rooms as we have dancers of all ages changing and they require privacy
Unless otherwise told by your teacher...
- ballet dancers will need pink ballet tights and pink or beige ballet shoes and have their hair in a low ballet bun
- jazz and pom dancers will need beige jazz shoes and have their hair in a high pony tail
- contemporary dancers can wear beige contemporary shoes or dance bare foot and have a low ballet bun
- hip-hop dancers need black sneakers. and have their hair in a high pony tail
Important Dates:
- February 18: all recital fees are due

- Saturday, April 29:Show rehearsal at Burke Racquet and Swim Club
- Sunday April 30: Dress rehearsal at Hylton Performing Arts Center + Show at Hylton Performing Arts Center
Daddy Daughter Dance
- This years recital will include a "Daddy Daughter" dance. Dust off your tutus Dads-More information coming soon!
